Conveniently located right beside the highway with easy access for caravans, campervans, and tents, The Paddock offers a spacious, open grass area ideal for a restful stopover. While our close proximity to the Bruce Highway means there may be some road noise, guests appreciate the convenience, space, and natural beauty we offer.
A member of the family will personally greet you on arrival and guide you to your campsite. Guests enjoy access to clean amenities, including toilets, hot showers, and shared fire pits — perfect for a cosy evening under the stars. (We kindly ask all visitors to take their rubbish with them when they leave.)
The Paddock Stay is located just five minutes from Maryborough and 30 minutes from Hervey Bay, making it a great base to explore the Fraser Coast or break up your journey along the Queensland coast.

We truly enjoyed camping at The Paddock Stay! Very convenient location right off the Bruce Highway. The bathrooms were such a nice touch and the hot shower was a welcomed treat! Beautiful sunset view at the dam near the campsite! Massive paddock to take a stroll through! Thank you to Rhonda and Lawrie for being such lovely and friendly hosts!

The Paddock was the perfect spot to break up the drive north – a lovely secluded spot right off the highway, with excellent facilities, a wonderfully rustic (and well equipped) camp kitchen, and Rhonda and Lawrie were incredibly generous and welcoming hosts. I couldn’t recommend The Paddock more!
